VIU makes their way to Logan Lake to continue their 3 game road trip.
The Mariners enter Friday’s game looking to keep pace in the standings after falling 4-2 to the UVic Vikes last weekend. VIU currently sits in 3rd place with 8 points behind the Okanagan Lakers with 11 points. Leading the way. forward Ethan Jones currently leads the BCIHL with 16 points in 6 games.
The Miners have gotten close in recent matchups but are still looking for their first win in the BCIHL. Rookie forward Jordan Lario has been a large part of the Miners’ increased offensive production, currently tied for second in the league with 15 points.
