UVic wraps up their 4 game homestand against SFU.
SFU makes their way to Vancouver Island for the first of three trips this season, and for the only time in the 2023 calendar year. The Red Leafs played their first game as a dedicated BCIHL team against the Vikes back in September, falling 5-0 in their only exhibition matchup of the year. This is the first regular season matchup between the Vikes and BCIHL Red Leafs.
The Vikes enter Friday’s game coming off a 5-3 win against the Okanagan Lakers last week. Victoria took a 2-0 lead into the second period before allowing 3 unanswered goals heading into the third, where they scored 3 unanswered goals themselves to secure the win. Friday’s matchup welcomes the Red Leafs as the fourth and last BCIHL team to visit the Ian Stewart Complex this season.
