The University of Victoria is pleased to announce that forward Branden Voss has committed to the Vikes for 2018/19 B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League season.
Voss is a native of Camrose, AB who joins the Vikes from the Drayton Valley Thunder after totaling 112 games in the AJHL over the past three seasons.
"I'm very thankful for the opportunity at the University of Victoria and I’m excited to face the new challenges ahead of me as I begin the next chapter of my life," says Voss, who plans to study Engineering.
Voss captained the Thunder last season, scoring twice and adding eight assists in 47 games. He has also suited up for the Drumheller Dragons and Camrose Kodiaks.
"I'm very excited to add Branden to our program," says UVic head coach Harry Schamhart. "His work ethic, experience and leadership will be a big plus for us as we work towards the goal of winning another BCIHL Championship."
Voss is the Vikes' first commitment of 2018.
