Selkirk College defenceman Cole Arcuri is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending January 21st.
The 22-year-old from Nelson scored his first career BCIHL marker on Friday as part of a four-goal second period for Selkirk en route to a 6-1 win over Eastern Washington University.
On Saturday, the Creston Valley Thunder Cats grad notched two goals and an assist as the Saints once again exploded for four goals in the second period and topped EWU 6-3.
Arcuri now has three goals and one assist in his first three BCIHL games.
The two wins move Selkirk eight points clear of SFU for second place in the BCIHL standings. The Saints are also just four points back of Trinity Western University in the battle for top spot in the league.
Runners up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award include Selkirk College forward Logan Styler, University of Victoria forward Landen Matechuk, Simon Fraser University forward Brandon Tidy, and Trinity Western University forward Jarrett Fontaine.
