University of Victoria forward Jack Palmer is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending November 25th.
The 22-year-old from Victoria had a goal and two assists on Friday as UVic scored three unanswered to erase a 2-0 Eastern Washington first period lead. However, the Eagles scored three unanswered themselves to win 5-3.
In the back half of the double header in Cheney, WA, Palmer paced the Vikes with three assists as they rallied back from a 3-1 third period deficit to claim a 4-3 overtime victory. The win snapped a seven game losing streak for UVic.
Palmer is now on a four game point streak, with one goal and seven assists over the stretch. He's also vaulted into a tie for fourth in BCIHL scoring and his 12 assists is more than he had in the previous two BCIHL seasons combined. Palmer is tied for second in the league in assists this season.
Runners up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award include Eastern Washington University forward Beau Walker, Vancouver Island University forward Kobe Oishi and Trinity Western University forward Brayden Brown.
