'Tis the season for the University of Victoria Vikes as the team is back at it again in the Ian Stewart Complex on Friday, November 25th for their special "Teddy Bear Toss" night when Eastern Washington visits.
The Teddy Bear Toss is a special event that the Vikes put on at Christmas time, asking the public to donate stuffed animals to families in the greater Victoria area. At the game you can bring your Teddy Bear or stuffed animal and donate it to the Vikes.
The hockey team will then go out and deliver the stuffed animals to local families. The more donated the more spirit and joy we can share this Christmas season.
Please be sure to properly wrap your teddy bear in order to prevent passing germs to children. The Vikes hockey team thanks you in advance for all your donations.
Friday’s game is set to start at 7:30 PM in the friendly confines of the University of Victoria's Ian Stewart Complex. Don't forget to bring your Teddy Bears and the Vikes will see you this Friday, November 25th.
