Simon Fraser University opened their two-game Alaska preseason road trip with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in an exhibition game at the MTA Events Center.
Six different scorers -- Jeremiah Luedtke, Corey Renwick, Jonah Renouf, Aleksi Ainali, Matt Anholt and Austin Azurdia -- scored goals for the Seawolves as UAA owned a commanding shots on goal advantage.
Mitch Chrisanti replied with SFU's lone goal on a third period power play.
UAA netminders Rasmus Reijola, Olivier Mantha and Evan Hauser shared time in goal for the Seawolves. The Renouf twins of Jonah (one goal, two assists) and Nathan (two assists) had big nights in their first game for the Seawolves following a transfer from Quinnipiac.
The Clan now have a day off before facing Alaska Fairbanks on Sunday at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks, AK. Faceoff is set for 4:00 PM PST.
