33 BCIHL student-athletes honoured as Academic Excellence Award winners

The British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League is pleased to announce that a total of 33 student-athletes have been named Academic Excellence Award winners for the 2014/15 school year.

BCIHL Academic Excellence honourees are student-athletes who are enrolled in a full-time program as determined by their institution and who achieve a minimum of 80% during the academic year (September to August). The BCIHL congratulates all its student-athletes whose success extends from the classroom to the arena.

The Academic Excellence Award honourees for 2014/15 are:

Eastern Washington University: Austin Brihn, Tanner Hawes, Tyler O'Donnell, Colin Perley, Josh Rolfe, Connell Totten and John Vant.

Selkirk College: Tylor Branzsen, Steven Glass, Stefan Gonzales, Darnell Dyck, Ryan Procyshyn, Logan Proulx, Steven Pantazopoulos, Arie Postmus, Mitch Rosko and Mason Spear.

Simon Fraser University: Jono Ceci, Tyler Mah, Josh McKissock, Trent Murdoch, Andrew Parent, Taylor Piller, Adam Rossi, Graham Smerek and Pavlo Zerebecky.

Trinity Western University: PJ Buys, Cole Hergott and Chris Hirano.

University of Victoria: Linden Horswill, Kelly Loudoun, Patrick Webb and Carsen Willans.
