University of Victoria forward Brad Robinson has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending November 24th.
Robinson combined big-time production with timely heroics this weekend, as he totalled six goals and an assist in a pair of home match-ups against Selkirk College.
The 21-year old posted a career performance on Friday night as he netted four power-play goals, including a pair in the final 1:05 of regulation to bring the Vikes from behind to secure a 5-4 victory -- their first of the 2013/14 BCIHL regular season.
And on Saturday, Robinson struck for another two goals as well as an assist as UVic built a 5-3 lead before eventually dropping a 6-5 overtime decision to the Saints.
The Vikes took 3 of a possible 4 points on the weekend to break a 10-game losing streak and get to within seven points of the final BCIHL playoff spot currently occupied by Trinity Western.
Runners up for this week's award include University of Victoria forward Eli Wiebe, Simon Fraser University forward Jono Ceci and Eastern Washington University forward Uriah Machuga.
