Trinity Western University is seeking a new head coach for Men's Hockey and invites fully qualified candidates to apply for this key leadership position.

The successful candidate will have fully embraced the beliefs and lifestyle of an evangelical Christian, will be supportive of the University's mission and will be able to contribute positively to the advancement of this evangelical Christian community.

In this excellent continuing hockey opportunity, the Head Coach will provide vision, leadership, direction and support of the Complete Champion Approach™ focusing primarily on:

1. Recruiting and developing highly skilled character student athletes;
    
2. Developing a perennial championship contender;
    
3. Creating a following of loyal supporters and partners to help financially;
    
4. Providing coaching leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of the student athletes and overall men’s hockey program.

These responsibilities will be fulfilled through coordination, planning, evaluation, and implementation of programs, as well as recruiting highly qualified junior caliber student athletes.

The Coach will orchestrate fund and friend-raising initiatives and will work cooperatively with the Spartan Staff team.

The ideal candidate will be a resulted oriented person with the ability to work with students, staff and volunteers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree, NCCP Level III coaching certification or equivalent, and several years of successful coaching at the collegiate or equivalent level.

Superior interpersonal, organizational, leadership, coaching, and technical skills are required. A pleasant personality together with a positive, friendly attitude in the midst of a busy and challenging atmosphere is essential.
