Ask anybody about the B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League's top rivalry and they're likely to list the always heated Simon Fraser/Thompson Rivers match-up on top of any list. So it's fitting that the pair will meet in the first round of this year's playoffs with a trip to the league finals on the line.

The series will open in Burnaby on Friday, March 8th (7:30 PM faceoff) before shifting to Kamloops on Saturday for Game 2 (8:00 PM). Should a third and deciding game be needed, the teams will return to the Lower Mainland for a 6:00 PM faceoff on Sunday.

The other series will see Selkirk College meet the #4 seed, but that could be any of Eastern Washington, the University of Victoria or Trinity Western depending on how the final weekend of regular season action plays out.
