Okanagan College forward Chris Glen has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending November 27th.
Glen led the Coyotes to a victory over Selkirk College on Saturday night, picking up five assists in a 6-3 win while being named the game's first star.
The Vernon, B.C. native helped set up Aaron Buat's opening tally just 33 seconds into regulation and picked up another first period point on a Kris Davis goal late in the frame.
With the game tied 3-3 in the second period, Glen set up goals from Buat and James Neitsch to put Okanagan ahead, and notched his fifth point on a power-play marker from Branden Redschlag in the third.
The 25-year old exits the weekend sitting in a tie for seventh in league scoring with 14 points in nine games.
Runners up for this week's award include Trinity Western University forward Kye Benjaminsen, Okanagan College forward Aaron Buat and Thompson Rivers University forward Joshua MacDonald.
