Okanagan College forward Miles Houston has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending November 13th.
Houston led the Coyotes to back-to-back road wins over the University of Victoria last week. On Friday, he picked up a pair of assists, including a helper on Layne Stopanski's late first period goal that would prove to be the game winner in a 5-3 victory. On Saturday, the 23-year old scored once and picked up two more assists in a 4-0 triumph over the Vikes.
The Vancouver, B.C. product now carries a five-game point streak that includes three goals and five assists. He sits third amongst Okanagan College scorers with eight points despite missing the first two games of the regular season due to injury.
Runners up for this week's award include Eastern Washington University forward Ryan Pajimola, Simon Fraser University forward Barry Moscone and Trinity Western University defenceman Brad Bakken.
