Trinity Western and Thompson Rivers meet in a home-and-home series this weekend. Both squads are looking to rebound from opening weekend losses, as the 'Pack dropped a pair of games to BCIHL newcomers Eastern Washington, while TWU took the wrong end of a 10-2 scoreline vs. SFU.

Thompson Rivers won three of the four meetings between the teams last season, outscoring the Spartans by a margin of 17-12 overall. The teams faced off twice at the Langley Events Centre, with TWU taking a 2-1 decision on January 7th before the WolfPack returned the favour with a 6-2 win on January 21st.
