The Trinity Western University Spartans will travel to Seattle, WA for a pair of exhibition contests versus the University of Washington Huskies on September 30th and October 1st, head coach Dwayne Lowdermilk has announced.
The University of Washington competes in Division II of the American Collegiate Hockey Association as well as the Pac-8 hockey conference, which includes amjor American universities like Stanford, Oregon and Arizona State. The Huskies, led by head coach David Kell, are the defending Pac-8 champions.
The Huskies' roster is primarily composed of players from Washington, Alaska and California and includes a former BCHLer in netminder Michael Smith.
Game times for the Washington series and additional exhibition contests will be announced at a later date.
