One year after a highly-successful event held in Langley, the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League Championships are bound for the City of Burnaby as Simon Fraser University readies to host the event from March 23-27, 2011.
SFU are the defending BCIHL Champions following a 2-1 defeat of the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack at the Langley Events Centre last spring.
The Championships will feature the top five finishers from the seven-team league's 2010/11 regular season with the Championship Game set for the evening of Sunday, March 27th. For a complete event schedule, click here.
"The Simon Fraser University Men's Hockey program is thrilled to be hosting the 2011 BCIHL Championships," SFU general manager Jeff Dubois says. "This is an event that continues to grow in stature each year and we look forward to showing the hockey fans of Burnaby how exciting this product can be."
Pricing options for packages and single-game tickets for the 2011 Championships will be released in early February.
