Simon Fraser University forward Jaime Laprise has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 7th, the league announced Monday.
Laprise was SFU's top offensive performer in a weekend sweep over Selkirk College in Castlegar. On Friday, the 23-year old assisted on three goals in a 7-0 victory over the Saints. The next day, he netted a hat trick -- including his 50th career B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League regular season goal -- and finished with four points in a 9-2 win.
Laprise finished the week with three goals and four assists, which vaulted him into first place in BCIHL scoring on 17 points.
