A few familiar names and some new additions highlighted the BC Intercollegiate Hockey League's All-Star teams for the 2008/09 season.
University of the Fraser Valley forwards Darren Olson and Rob Vos and blueliner Nathan Sagert were all named first-team All-Stars. Joining the UFV trio were SFU forward Jackson Friesen and netminder Garrett Lee along with Selkirk College defenceman Mike Boisvert.
Of that group, Vos, Sagert and Boisvert all made return appearances from last season's first-team selections.
The second-team includes four members of top-ranked SFU as well as the league's newly crowned MVP. Simon Fraser forwards Jaime Laprise and Paul Moscone are joined by Victoria counterpart Brett Campbell while SFU blueliners Iain Stewart and Andrew Graham nailed down the defence spots. Victoria netminder Federico Angel was named the team's goaltender.
