While it took University-College of the Fraser Valley centre Rob Vos until March to clinch the BCIHL scoring crown, he's been a safe bet to finish on top for months.
With UVic and SFU's regular seasons complete, Vos and linemates Kyle Krunick and Dan MacIver have all but officially secured the top three spots in league scoring. UCFV and Trinity Western meet Sunday to complete the BCIHL's regular season slate, and no Titans player is within shouting distance of the Cascades' potent trio.
The only question yet to be settled is whether Krunick or MacIver will finish as runner-up to Vos, who has maintained an insurmountable double-digit lead in points for weeks. Also clear is that Simon Fraser centre Paul Moscone and Selkirk College rearguard Mike Boisvert will fill out the top five.
It's a safe bet that all five will be recognized when the BCIHL's award winners and all-stars for the 2007/08 season are announced in the week leading up to the League's Championship Tournament, set for March 14th-16th in Langley, BC.
