The University of Victoria has announced a pair of player commitments for the 2020/21 B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League season, as forwards Lach Hadley and Dominic Turner will join the four-time league champions.
Hadley is a 2000-born forward who finished the 2019/20 season with the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League's Westshore Wolves. He scored five goals and added 13 assists in 17 regular seasons games with the Wolves after starting the season with the BCHL's Penticton Vees.
The local product also suited up for the BCHL's Victoria Grizzlies, Cowichan Valley Capitals and the MJHL's Portage Terriers. He recorded 25 points in 131 Junior A games.
Turner is a 2000-born forward who spent the last two seasons with the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League's Golden Rockets. He scored 16 goals and 28 points in 31 games this season, and graduates from the KIJHL having scored 54 goals and 80 games overall.
Hadley and Turner join forwards Colton Hutchinson, Jack Fairfield and Lucas Thompson, as well as defenceman Cianan Briscoe and goaltender Blake Pilon, as players who have commited to join the Vikes next season. Additional announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
