Selkirk College found themselves in an early hole Friday night but dug their way out, scoring four consecutive goals en route to a 4-2 road victory over the University of Victoria at the Ian Stewart Complex.
Matthew Hermary put the Vikes ahead just six minutes after puck drop, but the Saints replied with a pair of goals in a span of 56 seconds to retake the lead. Vince Bitonti scored their first of the game and Edward Lindsey put Selkirk ahead moments later.
The Saints took control of the game in the second period despite just six shots on goal, as Sawyer Hunt and Parker Wakaruk beat Vikes starter Michael Fredrick.
Hayden Guilderson brought Victoria back within a pair on a third period power-play, but the Saints held on from there to pick up two valuable road points.
Tallon Kramer stopped 25 shots in picking up the win for Selkirk, while Fredrick allowed four goals on 32 shots in defeat.
Selkirk is back in action Saturday night when they travel north to take on Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. Game time is 7:15 PM.
