Trinity Western University forward Jamey Kreller has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending November 15th.
Kreller's third period goal against Simon Fraser University on Saturday night at the Langley Events Centre stood up as the game winner, as the Spartans defeated the Clan by a 3-2 score. The goal capped a TWU comeback after falling behind by two goals late in the first period.
The fourth-year forwarded completed a play started by linemate Cody Stephenson and beat Clan netminder Jordan Liem. The goal was Kreller's third of the season.
Runners up for this week's award include Simon Fraser University forward Brendan Lamont, Selkirk College forward Matt Martin and Eastern Washington University forward Devan Beck.
