University of Victoria forward Adam Klein has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending October 26th.
Klein continued his hot start to the 2014/15 regular season on Friday night when he scored twice and totaled four points in an 8-3 home victory over Simon Fraser University. The 25-year old opened the scoring midway through the first period and scored the eventual game-winner shorthanded in the second before assisting on a pair of Vikes markers later in the contest.
And on Saturday, Klein scored again in a 6-5 defeat at Trinity Western when he put UVic on the board on a first period power-play. He finished the weekend with five points in two games.
Klein leads all Vikes scorers with seven goals and 11 points through six games, and currently sits third overall in BCIHL scoring.
Runners up for this week's award include Trinity Western University defenceman Jake Harcoff, Selkirk College defenceman Stefan Gonzales and University of Victoria defeceman Dylan Hykawy.
