Vancouver Island University forward Dallas Calvin is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending November 11th.
The 24-year-old from Trail, BC scored a pair of power play goals, including the winner, as the Mariners moved into first place in the BCIHL standings with a 7-2 win against the University of Victoria.
Calvin, who was named player of the week on five other occassions during his BCIHL career, also had one assist in the first period and two in the third period to record his fourth multi-point game of the season.
The five point effort moves Calvin into top spot in the BCIHL scoring race, two points ahead of teammates Brett Witala and Garrett Dunlop. His 12 assists and eight power play points are also tops in the league.
Runners up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award include Trinity Western University goaltender Lucas Mills, Vancouver Island University forward Alex Milligan, University of Victoria forward Blake Holowaty and TWU defenceman Dustin Deugau.
