On the latest edition of the 2015/16 "Inside the BCIHL" audio podcast, host Brian Wiebe completes his season previews with the head coaches from SFU, TWU and UVic.
First, Brian checks in with Simon Fraser University bench boss Mark Coletta on the heels of the Clan making an appearance in the 2015 BCIHL Finals. SFU has lost a number of key players to graduation but brought in an impressive cast of junior recruits and university transfers.
Next, Brian talks with Trinity Western University head coach Barret Kropf, whose squad is seeking playoff success after a first place regular season finish last season fizzled into a first round postseason exit. The Spartans feel that improved depth can be the difference in taking the final step towards a championship.
And finally, Brian chats with longtime University of Victoria coach Harry Schamhart following an offseason that saw the Vikes attract a number of Junior A talents to Vancouver Island. UVic appears to be a team on the upswing following last season's jump to third place in the standings.
