Fans of the Selkirk College Saints men's hockey team now have a new source for up-to-the-minute team news and information following the launch of GoSaints.ca.

“I expect our new website to be the place where fans and observers of Saints hockey go for the best coverage of their team,” Selkirk College athletics director Kim Verigin says. “We've taken a huge leap forward in terms of our ability to connect with fans and students and make sure that everyone is up to date with what's happening around the team."

GoSaints.ca will feature player news, pre- and post-game updates and feature stories on Saints student athletes. The team-specific site will also give the program a direct online connection to recruits, sponsors and the community.

"I hope the new site helps raise awareness of the team and takes the fan experience to a new level," says Verigin. "We want hockey fans in Castlegar and around the West Kootenays to be able to see all that's going on at the rink and in the community."

"Having a team website also gives us the opportunity to recognize key sponsors like Kootenay Savings, who have contributed so much to the team."
