Trinity Western University forward Evan Last is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending December 9th.
The 23-year-old from Surrey, BC had a goal and an assist as the Spartans ended the semester with their tenth win in twelve games in a 4-2 victory versus Simon Fraser University.
On Friday, the former Manitoba Junior Hockey League veteran assisted on Spencer Gerth's first period power play goal, which stood up as the winner, and also scored the insurance marker on a power play in the third period.
Last leads TWU in scoring with six goals and 11 points (6-11-17) in 12 games, two points ahead of Dustin Deugau. He is also one point back of VIU forward Dallas Calvin for the overall BCIHL scoring lead.
The runner up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award is Simon Fraser University forward Mitch Ledyard.
