Trinity Western University forward Spencer Gerth is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending November 18th.
The 20-year-old from Langley, BC scored his first career BCIHL goal and added an assist in the second period on Friday as TWU fell 4-2 to Selkirk College for the Spartans' first loss of the 2018-19 season.
On Saturday, Gerth, who is a veteran of 183 Western Hockey League games with Everett and Victoria, assisted on Jarrett Fontaine's game winning overtime goal as the Spartans beat the Saints 3-2 to get back into the win column.
The three-point weekend moves Gerth into a tie for fifth in scoring on Trinity Western.
Runners up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award include Selkirk College goaltender Tallon Kramer, Simon Fraser University forward Nicholas Holowko, University of Victoria goaltender Zack Wear and Vancouver Island University forward Kobe Oishi.
