2019 BCIHL PLAYOFFS
First Round: March 7-10, 2019
Championship Round: March 14-16, 2019
Since the 2012/13 season, the winner of the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League championship has been determined by a two-round, four-team playoffs. Previously, a tournament-style event existed that was phased out following the 2011/12 season. To learn more about past playoffs and champions, visit our History: Championships page.
FORMAT:
The BCIHL playoffs will consist of the top four finishers in the league's regular season standings. Each round is contested as a best-of-three series.
FIRST ROUND:
Series 1 - (#1) Trinity Western University vs. (#4) Simon Fraser University
Game 1: Thursday, March 7th - TWU wins 6-3
Game 2: Friday, March 8th - TWU wins 5-2
TWU wins series 2-0, advances to BCIHL Finals
Series 2 - (#2) Selkirk College vs. (#3) Vancouver Island University
Game 1: Friday, March 8th - VIU wins 6-1
Game 2: Saturday, March 9th - VIU wins 3-2
VIU wins series 2-0, advances to BCIHL Finals
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND:
Series 3 - (#1) Trinity Western University vs. (#3) Vancouver Island University
Game 1: Thursday, March 14th - 7:00 PM at Langley Events Centre
Game 2: Friday, March 15th - 7:00 PM at Aldergrove Community Arena
Game 3: Saturday, March 16th - 7:00 PM at Langley Events Centre
